I know some people want to use the word fasting to mean “I actually eat but only a little”. I don’t want to gate keep them, but when I’m here for to get or give fasting support, and I see someone talking about eating (not technical questions about refeeding), then……it strikes me as a food post.
I suggest, to give everyone some space, we can flare all posts so that we know which are about fasting and which are about these alternate uses where eating is allowed.
It does seem, at least to me, based on your recent post history and contrary to your claims (here and in previous posts) that you are mostly interested in gate-keeping.
I can see some value in the utility of flairs. However, since you seem very interested in posting about and commenting on posts that you don’t consider fasting, I don’t see how it would provide much value to you personally. Since you have the option to not engage but have chosen to do so over and over again, it makes you seem like a zealot.
As a general purpose fasting sub that attracts many beginners, I think that as long as the person is making some effort (no matter how small) to control or restrict the timing of their eating this sub should be welcoming. More welcoming than you have been.
