Answer

I’m only on my 8th week now but I honestly have never felt better. Now that I know how good I can feel, I never plan on going back! I have way more energy, no longer have severe hunger, sleep so well, and have supple skin again. And the weightloss is a definite bonus!! Who knew fasting is what our bodies needed to get back to health! I was always afraid to slow metabolism if I didn’t eat. I used to frown at people who skipped breakfast, now I’m one of them!Slip up? Who doesn’t slip up? As I’ve read people say, it’s a way of life, not a religion.

Answer

Admit that you are going to slip up. And it is okay to do so. If I am good 95% of the time, I won’t beat myself up for the 5%. Because when you beat yourself up for the 5%, that is when you really go all-in in the other direction.

Answer

Strict keto, so no cravings; acknowledging how much better I feel when I’m not eating; listening to the obesity code and fasting podcasts while I walk; and looking ahead 3 months when my doctor wants to repeat liver tests that suggested I have a fatty liver (confirmed by ultrasound two weeks ago).

Answer

Picturing my future self 3 months from now and knowing it’ll all be worth it if I stay consistent! Until I create new goals then reach those 😉 keep going & keep growing ✨🎉🤗 remember to be kind to yourself and without positive consistency there will be no positive results.

Answer

For me it’s incremental steps. I seriously have an eating addiction so I do IF to help live with that addiction. Why do I share that? Because for me success is just following the plan, at a bare minimum eat only when that window is open

Aside from that I define small incremental goals. Measure able goals. Things like another notch tighter on my belt. Or being able to wear my wedding band again. Or being able to wear that bracelet I like. Or being able to do my daily walk without serious back pain. The scale, to me, is an enemy. So I limit weighing myself to once a quarter at most and I just skipped last quarters weigh in. Instead I weekly measure my resting pulse rate, my blood pressure and if I have access to it my pulsox mix

There will be slip ups. Intentional or unintentional. That’s where all or nothing thinking will derail you. Instead think of one step at a time one day at a time. And steadily walk they path being kind to yourself along the way

Best of luck

Answer

I don’t.

I slip up all the time, realize that I am a humaan being and we all make mistakes constantly, and then try to get back on track.

Chill. You’re trying to be better. Most can’t say that. If you have a bad day, try to have a better day tomorrow.

Answer

It works and I really really really never want to even be overweight again in my life. Also after a year I’ve learned I can eat a lot more not as healthy things I enjoy and not instantly put on 30 pounds. Turns out I’m more willingly to stick to it most days when I know at least I’ll eat something I really like.

Answer

Eh… we all slip up. But the longer I stick to it the easier it is to recover when I do. I also just feel better when I’m taking care of myself. Garbage food truly makes me feel like garbage now.
