How does your cheat day/meal look like?

I mean, is it like all the way into consuming fast food or a moderate one?

I am big time craving different dishes but I am afraid to lose my 35 day long 16:8 consistency.

Answer

I eat one meal a day (OMAD), I eat whetever the hell I want. So in a way every day is a cheat meal day.

With that being said, I’ve done some changes to eat healthier and help with the fasting part on a more regular basis. Nearly half my plate is now veggies, especially ones with high fiber content. I also rely less on carbs and go for meals that are heavy in fat/protein.

Carbs, especially refined sugar is very calorie dense and gets absorbed very quickly, causing you to be hungrier faster.

Answer

It can range anywhere from an energy bar to a 12 donut box for me. If I have a specific craving, I give in to it because I know it’s really not likely to go away, and I can go back to my usual regimen of whole foods and OMAD afterwards, not too much of a big deal.

Sadly, when I crave pizza for example, I crave more than an entire box, not just a slice. So while I do tend to give in, I also make sure to only do it seldomly as too often would have too many repercussions and is harder to recover form it.

Smaller cheats like an energy bar or rice cakes happen when I’m grocery shipping (once or twice a month) and something just sounds good at that moment and doesn’t include too many calories so I can fit it in my TDEE. Just a why not moment.

Answer

I would either get Pizza or go berserk and get Fried Chicken from Popeyes or sumthin with Diet Coke ofc. I also spend the later part of day feeling guilty and horrible about what I ate. So all in all a good day I guess
