Hi all! I’ve been fasting about a year or so and initially lost 10 lbs. I would still like to lose about 10-15 lbs. I’ve been increasing length to 18-20 hrs.
I am implementing an exercise program (body weight and cardio only 30 min 4-5 days a week.)
Any tips on how I can best use this to help me reach my goals? How much did adding exercise to your regimen help? I’d love some motivation!
For me, working out in the fasted state seems to help. I’ve managed to lose about 42 lbs since November, but still have a ways to go! Weight training is especially good for getting into the fat burning zone. I usually fast 8pm til noon, and work out mid to late morning. I often break my fast even later, like around 2. Seems to work! But everyone is different. Good luck!
