Intense exercise (Muay Thai): advice and help

Hey everyone… So I’m day 3 into my (hopefully) 5 day water fast. This afternoon I have a private Muay Thai class which usually kicks my ass (think drown in your own sweat intense). I’ve been doing pretty well so far, skating to and from work and doing some walking… except for dreaming about food last night and feeling a little wobbly/weak.

My question is, is it safe to do this class?
I don’t really want to feint half way through, or do I want to do a half assed job at it. I can’t cancel it either. I also thought about having a banana/MCT oil before the class… but that would mean breaking the fast.

Please any advice welcome!

Feinting is a real issue. It happened to me on day 3 of a 4 day water fast. All of sudden you just do a face plant. Lucky I was on thick grass. If your class has floor mats all the better. Go, tell the instructor what’s going on, perhaps more technique work, less vigorous workout. Setting your workout expectations much lower during a fast is the way to go. Good luck.
