Pick an eating window of 8 hours or less. Don’t eat or drink anything with calories outside your eating window. This isn’t rocket science. The willpower to stick to it is the hard part in the beginning.

I’d also recommend getting rid of anything that you’d typically snack on outside of an eating window. For instance, if you normally get an urge for ice cream at 9 pm, make sure you don’t have any in the house. Or if you’re going to skip breakfast, get rid of the food you’d normally eat for breakfast.

Depending on your personal situation, a degree of willpower is necessary. You could eliminate the temptation items from your fridge/freezer but uber eats/doordash a temptation item outside of your window. But I’ve found that if I don’t have it on hand when a craving hits, there is a 99% chance I won’t eat it.
