Hi I’m wondering if you have any tips on what works for you to control hunger during your non eating window, especially when starting out. Is there anything that actually helps or do you just have to suffer through it? I want to try IF but if I don’t eat breakfast I feel sick, but with work and feeding my family our dinner time has to be later than what my eating window would allow if I don’t skip morning breakfast. Any ideas on what I could do to make this work would be amazing!
My experience only, but I think you have to make yourself learn to like drinking herbal teas, black coffee, and/or water during that time. Distracting yourself also helps a ton. And eventually you get used to it and you no longer think about it so much. Everyone will have something different that works for them and I do think we need to accept that sometimes it’ll suck and we’ll be hungry. I also think the first couple weeks you feel hungry more often and the feeling kind of dulls as you go.
