Title basically. December has been a rough month in terms of IF. I broke my fast early almost daily and only today started getting serious again. I’ve been reading a lot of your guys posts and I see that a lot of you have experienced the same. And here I am asking myself… Is it really that dramatic?
In all honesty, I don’t think it is. I’ve lost about 18 kgs (~40 lbs) this year. I performed mostly quite well for the past 11 months, so I don’t mind taking things a bit more lightly now. Especially when knowing that I will be fully back on track in January.
So for those of you feeling down because you didn’t go through with your IF this month, don’t be too hard on yourself. You did great this year and you’ll do even greater next year. Think of this month as your “resting phase” before you rock it next year!
Have a great rest of your year, guys.

No. You’ve already started your journey so resuming in January shouldn’t be an issue for you. Notice how many people join the gym in January for a ‘fresh start’ and give up? That’s not going to be you because you already tried and benefited from the results….you already know what is in store and how to get there. You got this.
Same. With a family member in hospital most of the month and the holidays, fasting has not gone well for me. But I’m planning on starting strong again after we celebrate with my family on New Year’s, beginning with a massive reduction in sugar consumption!
