I have a question about fasting and athletic performance.

I am going to play in an ultimate frisbee tournament in November. Once before, I played ultimate while I had been fasting for 4 days. I got several comments on having more stamina than usual. My question is, if I start fasting a few days before the tournament, will that stamina last through two days of hard playing, or will I become exhausted after a few hours. Does anyone have any experience with that?

It really depends on how your body is prepared before. Personally I always feel fatigued while doing strenuous exercise during a fast. Weaker and light-headed. I would stick to what you know works for the event, kinda better safe than sorry with a big outcome on the line
