IF/low-carb for maintaining weight loss

39F, 5’6”. HW: 210 lbs. SW three months ago: 182lbs, CW: 147lbs, now doing IF 18:6.

Hello all. Newbie here. For the past 3 months I had significant success at weight loss with a low carb diet, daily cardio and strength exercise, and a GLP-1 agonist medication. (Major kudos to those of you who achieved similar loss without the med, but this is the first time I have had a “normal” BMI in my adult life.) Now that I’m at goal, I’m coming off the medication and hope to maintain my weight with the low-carb diet and IF 18:6 (small lunch and then family dinner). I appreciate already what I’ve learned from reading through this forum and look forward to contributing as I can. If 18:6 isn’t enough for maintenance, then I will try to figure out how to add longer fasts despite having two young kids that need feeding. (Edit: typo)

I lost weight on keto and calorie counting, then added IF. Now maintaining on keto and IF, not counting calories. Working so far. And if my jeans get even a little tight, I throw in a longer fast or 2.

But have to watch it!
