Is metabolism your BMR or TDEE?

This might sound like a dumb question, but does ”metabolism” refer to your BMR/RMR or TDEE? The reason I’m asking is because I often see people use it interchangeably with both BMR/RMR and TDEE.

Metabolism is the biochemical reactions your body performs to create energy from food.

Your resting metabolic rate (RMR) or basal metabolic rate (BMR) is the total amount of energy your body needs just to exist. So the energy needed to keep your heart beating, your lungs breathing, your body from wasting away while lying at rest doing the bare minimum.

TDEE is total daily energy expenditure which is the total amount of energy your body needs to do your normal activities without gaining or losing any weight. This is your BMR plus the amount needed for moving, digesting, playing sports, scratching an itch, whatever else you do above and beyond existing in a motionless state.

So metabolism itself may have its own definition as in it refers to an action your body does. BMR is your basal metabolic rate. This is essentially the amount of energy your body uses daily to just exist. RMR is resting metabolic rate which adds a little more to the list. Essentially RMR is also your bodies function, but RMR also adds something like the walk from your room to the kitchen. Or the walk from your room to the car to drive to put gas in it. On the contrary TDEE is total daily energy expenditure which includes your BMR but also includes your activity level like exercise as well as like the effect food has on your body, like protein which requires more energy to metabolize.

Ah, metabolism. That ol chestnut.Why is the definition important. I’m a moron, so I had to reverse engineer the metabolism to understand it’s effects on our biology. Our trillions of mitochondria each have a couple of hundreds of “nanomotors” in them that spin at around 1000rpm when efficient.Seed oils, sugars, deuterium, etc. attach to the nanomotors and slow them by causing weight and resistance. This is metabolic disfunction and the cause of all modern diseases. Ground zero, you could say.This is the precursor to any symptoms of dysfunction such as weight gain or illness.I know this was slightly off topic but hopefully helpful and I just want to see if I remembered this stuff correctly.
