Will peanut butter give the same fats as butter or tallow
Health is not some proscribe all fit all term. If your diet is very high in animal fats (too high) then peanut butter would be a healthier option for you. There are many styles of diets that are healthy.
Number of vitamins and minerals is much higher in peanutbutter than in regular butter. Also more protein and less fat on a per gram basis.
Overall I would say yes, peanutbutter is healthier. Although you shouldn’t fry with it because it’s gonna burn. Cooking is okay though.
Bon appetit!
I’ve seen a couple paleo books discourage peanuts and peanut butter because of susceptibility to fungal growth and the resulting aflatoxin. I’m not sure if this is blown out of proportion. They say buying roasted peanut butter, and refrigerating it, helps that problem.
The anti-nutrient content in peanuts (phytates, lectin, saponin) also seems worrying.

I found an article that exemplifies these claims https://thepaleodiet.com/peanut-butter-is-it-paleo
For your specific fats question, no.
Peanut butter: 80% unsaturated, 20% saturated. It’s omega 6 to omega 3 ratio is roughly 20:1. A healthy ratio is close to 1:1.
Animal fats (grass-fed beef): 50% unsaturated, 50% saturated. Omega 6 to omega 3 ratio is around 3:1. Also includes CLA.
Fundamentally these are quite different.
Some other notes: peanuts are legumes. Protein from legumes is low in one of the essential amino acids. Your body requires 8 aminos acids from outside sources and you should aim for the full protein, or all aminos acids.
It still has a lot of Omega-6 unfortunately, but I will say at least it does have monounsaturated fats which are pretty good. However, most peanut butter is in a way rancid and has a certain toxic mold in it called aflatoxins, additionally many peanut butter brands have horrific additives and are non organic. Butter is my go to, its high in stearic acid which is just wonderful for your body and highly nutritious with all the fat soluble vitamins.
