is there any benefit to dry fasting with limited water?

I wanna start dry fasting but it’s so hard to cut water off completely, is there a benefit to just drinking 6 ounces of water a day? Or am I just dehydrating my self for no reason?

Or does the process occur when your body breaks up fat cells only occur after 72 hours?

Sorry should’ve mentioned that it’s personal observation. For me I don’t see any changes at least till the 72hr mark. At that point my skin clears and my inflammation markers drop significantly (no joint pain). Also autophagy needs more time to regenerate the immune system and 72hrs is the sweet spot between regenerate immune cells and not loosing any muscle mass (although you could probably go to 5 days without loosing muscle).
