Just ended a 23-day (water only) fast. How are grapes for refeeding?

I might do another post regarding my experience, but I currently have a question.

My initial refeeding plan was changed a little bit and I had some grapes. I’m not really concerned about my body’s reaction to it, but someone commented how grapes are not good to break a fast with. How true is this? I would also especially appreciate more academic sources of possible.
Thank you!

Answer

I did a 21 day water fast and broke it with normal food. If you kept good electrolytes through your fast you should have zero issues with refeeding. Eat slowly and mindfully and see how it goes. You will be fine.

Answer

Grapes are high in sugar and carbs.. like it has 17g of carbs of which 16g is sugar per 100g.. and I would assume that you are aware that you shouldn’t break your fast with sugar, especially that long one..
Few might be ok, but if that were me taking that of a long fast and my plan for refeeding would have changed, I would have just waited longer, rather than feeding myself straight up sugar
