Learned the hard way to not just eat empty carbs

First of all yes I know just having carbs is not great, especially for IF, but yesterday in the eating window of my 20:4 all I had was a frozen pizza.

I had been craving it during the fast and I allow myself a little bit of junk some days– I usually eat a lot of vegetables, fish, and cheese.

In the evening I felt like I was starving and craving food worse than ever before and it was so hard to not give in.

Woke up this morning with a massive migraine, and it feels different from my usual migraines as well. I feel like I have like 20 hangovers.

I looked it up and intense hunger can trigger migraines in people and what are called “hunger headaches” which I didn’t have a problem with until now. Now I have to have it for 3 more hours until I can eat again! Nooo

Never just having carbs in my eating window again lol. 😭

After eating clean whole foods for a certain period of time, every cheat day i am too reminded of why i eat healthy. Body really notices the changes and it does not appreciate being given nothing but junk.

Still, though, can’t deny junk food is delicious, but gotta have it with a balance.
