If you’re supposed to avoid sugar, then juice may not be the best. It’s concentrated sugar, even if it’s not added sugar. Typically, something high in fat and low in carbs is going to be the least insulin-spiking option. Avocado maybe? (Most of my go-to suggestions aren’t vegan — whole-milk yogurt or heavy cream — so I’m trying to think of a vegan analogy. You may have better ideas than I do.)
