Even in black coffee format, it contains 20 calories and 2 carbs per cup. Not even sure how this is possible.
Who else also has this issue?
Tbh, any “coffee” that isn’t just beans you add hot water to in some way then drink isn’t the kind of coffee that you are safe to drink on fasts.
Unless it’s black coffee straight from the Chemex, V60, French press, or drip machine/ any other apparatus. It’s probably got something added in it.
I’ve posted a bit about coffee on here before. Coffee beans do contain oil. If you use extraction methods that involve paper filters, it can help reduce the amount of oils you consume.
Cold brew, French press and espresso are a few methods that will have higher oil contents.
Having said that, I still drink espresso every morning during my fasting window because I just don’t care. Hope this helps!
