New to fasting. need some help/guidance

So tldr. I’ve been very healthy my entire life up until I turned 15 , where suddenly my normally very strong immune system turned to shit + allergies and eczemas. I just turned 16 recently and found out about some “self repair mechanism” caused by fasting, and wanted to atleast give it a try. So I’ve never fasted my entire life so I have no idea what to do. Should I fast , as in not eat anything (except drink water etc.) completely for days or just not eat in like a f.e 16 hour time frame to achieve my goal?

You are very young and still growing. Fasting (and its related benefits - autophagy is the word you’re looking for) is not a cure-all for complex, evolving health issues like yours, and it carries many health risks in and of its own. Please speak to a doctor before you listen to anyone on Reddit! You could do irreversible damage to your body if you plow ahead without proper medical supervision.
