Not Getting Into Ketosis?

I usually do a 72 hour dry fast every month and during this fast I lose about 10lbs. My body temperature gets warm . I feel the usual hunger that comes with the first 24-48 hours of a dry fast . My last dry fast wasn’t the same as usual and I’m wondering why . I was never hungry nor did my body temperature rise like it usually does . I started this fast directly after thanksgiving(Canadian for those wondering) so I am wondering if that could have been the issue. If there is an optimal way to prepare to maximize the benefits of a dry fast I would like to know . Any insight is greatly appreciated .

You’re likely we’ll adapted to dry fasting and relatively clean on a cellular level. Once your body can switch seamlessly between glucose and ketone metabolism you won’t notice a pronounced shift into ketosis. If you’re 3 days dry fasted you’re very much in ketosis though. The internal heat tends to indicate marked autophagy. It’s absence I would take as a good sign. An easy 72 hour experience is a good measure of where your internal hygiene is at

piss strips are very vague and with light and stuff deteriorate fast. no very trustworthy. one of the most accurate way is to measure yor blood sugar and ketones and there are formulas that show how deep you are. i am using ketomojo gk+ and it is awesome tool( not affiliated). often when you think you should be in ketosis you are barely scraping at the door. some with many foods. after i started using it i got 20x clearer picture what works for me. dont see any reason ever mess w piss strips.
