Pain lower abdomen after 3 day fast

I did a water fast for 3 days and and played a two high intensity soccer games the following week. I know my body probably wasn’t at a 100% but I felt fine during the games. Post games I’m feeling serious soreness in my pelvic region, at first I thought it was a slight groin pull but I think it’s something else. Help please trying to find a solution since I felt this for 4 days now every time I try to exert myself. I don’t think it’s a hernia as I have no lumps. I think it may be a cause of fasting + reckless behavior, has anyone experienced this ?

Answer

Fasting is unlikely to injure you, but can delay the recovery from injury. Plus, it weakens your immune system, which improves after breaking. I suggest seeing a doctor, or postpone your fasting after recovery.

Answer

Sounds like you got a cramp from all that balling!!!! If you think that it’s a cramp, load up on fasting electrolytes, especially potassium.

I assume that you’re an athlete so you are in tune with your body …if it’s not a cramp, probably check in with your dr.

Answer

Hernias aren’t always palpable to an untrained hand.

Are you usually strenuously active? Is the pain local to one spot, one side, or is it generalized to your entire pelvis/lower abdominal area?

Worse with movement/activity?

If you’re still feeling it to the same degree after four days, safe to say it’s probably time to see your doc.
