I’ve been testing taking OTC anti diarrhea meds about half a day in. Any thoughts on this?
Why are you doing this? Recognize that Imodium (loperamide) works by slowing down the peristalsis (movement) of your intestines. This allows more time for your colon to reabsorb water from your stool, which is how it helps the diarrhea. But it also slows the movement of everything through your gut. Is this truly the outcome you want if you don’t actually have diarrhea?
