Recommend an app for tracking?

Hey, everyone. New here but I’ve been IF for a week now, started with the 16:8 and so far I feel very good. My goal is weight loss and have a healthier life overall. I’ve been reading a lot of very helpful advice here and I feel motivated to keep going.

Do you think is it worth using an app to track what you do? And if so cab anyone recommend a good and free app to track progress? I see so many out there and it’s hard to pick one randomly. Thanks to all!

I use simple. Eh. When I originally started using it, I believe it was a lot better. It had functions that allowed you to track your mood and comment on however you felt throughout the day. Made me hopeful I could eventually see a pattern. Except, tons of ads to buy their subscription. Maybe I’m exaggerating, but it’s almost every opportunity they get.
