No side effects. No fast breaking, but the munchies were real intense lol. Hard to fight. I’d say wait until you’re approaching your eating window.

Do it one day and see how you handle it. No big deal. But smoking alone won’t break your fast.

It definitely won’t break your fast (smoking, not edibles). I smoke daily, in and out of the fasting window (20:4). It’s amazing. Helps me sleep if I’m hungry. I trained the munchies out of me years and years ago, somehow now during fasting it helps me suppress my appetite. And it keeps me calm throughout which is great for your mental state when fasting.

P.S. I work in the field of cannabis plant science and I can tell you that in about 5 to 8 years cannabis (or compounds of it) will be a weight-loss drug / therapy.

If you wanna avoid munchies, best thing to do is stay consistent with ur fast and I HIGHLY SUGGEST you cut out ALL simple / processed sugars as that is what will mainly spike your cravings ..

Obviously u can treat ur self to snacks periodically but remove those from ur daily eating patterns if u wanna reduce munchies

doesn’t break the fast and before IF and carnivore weed would give me the mad munchies, now I smoke and haven’t had the munchies in over a year, even when doing extended fasts too. It’s actually kinda cool LOL

Not munching is hard AF especially when others are munching. I’ve done okay with just keeping water, tea, coffee near by and drinking every time I want to eat something.

I havent been able to smoke since I was like 20 because of panic attacks. I never used to have them unless I hadnt eaten in a couple of days and smoked a fat blunt.Maybe bear that in mind if u get anxious or paranoid when u smoke. Smoking fasted might make you more prone to anxiety

I love cooking with cannabis, the best is pressure cooking a heavy sprinkle of flower with rice or quinoa, and using that as a base for a dish (taco bowls, soups, etc.). The high hits pretty fast (pressure cooker process for the win) but I am usually still full from my meal by the time munchies would set in - they usually end up as a light craving, which is much easier to ignore.

I need it to sleep. I’ve worked it out that if I smoke about a half hour to an hour before bed, I avoid the munchies. And as soon as those cravings hit, I immediately stop what I’m doing and hit the hay.
