Tmi I know but did intermittent fasting make my bowel movements look normal again???

I know its disgusting but this is a big deal for me. For the last 8 years my bms have been all over the place very rarely normal looking but since starting this I’m doing big long whole poops which look exactly like they should. Please tell me others experiences the same and I’m not going through a lucky phase as I know if this is here to stay it will benefit me hugely as my body could not of been digesting food properly all that time. Any input appreciated . Thanks

So you’re making turds again? Yeah, that’s a thing. It’s like you’re thinking. The turd assembly line is more controlled. Your digestive system no longer accepts deliveries all hours of the day. There is no longer weird midnight deliveries that force the machine to push unfinished work along without it becoming completed.

You can mess it back up by eating trash, but this is definitely a perk of a consistent, shortened eating window.

I hope I can hijack this thread, slightly, to ask a related question about poop…i have always been regular. In fact I’d go twice a day…but now I’m in my second week of 20/4 (2MOD) and, as I expected, Im not going as often…however I’ve not had a movement in 36 hours and I’m wondering if I need to add something to my 4 eating hours. Currently I’m focusing on salads with protein, yogurt, fresh fruit - plus a shot of bone broth to break the fast.
