How unhealthy are they cooking in a frying pan with no oil or anything added? Are they similar to chicken breast if you don’t bread and fry them and add a bunch of sauces?
Edit: I mean just cut off the chicken and sitting in the fresh meat section next to the chicken breast and fish and any other meat unpackaged.
By unhealthy I suppose I’m talking about making you fat/ heart health
The only thing about chicken relating to heart health directly is the kind of chicken.
Grain and soy fed chicken has a terrible Omega 6 to Omega 3 ratio, which is proven to negatively affect your cardiovascular health if not corrected by other areas of your diet.
Get grassfed organic.
There is nothing bad about oils or fats either, as long as you are not physically making yourself obese. Also, avoid cooking in unstable PUFAs like canola, “vegetable oil”, or soybean oil, etc. Use butter or coconut oil.
No they aren’t similar to breasts. Breast meat is white and overcooks easily due to less fat. Chicken wings are dark meat and more fatty and won’t overcook so fast.
In any case you don’t need to eat the most healthiest things at all times so don’t overthink this and just enjoy your wings. None of the foods you listed are unhealthy in moderation like anything else
As an aside: you get fat from eating more calories than you burn. Even the healthiest foods can make you fat if you overeat them (though hard to do)
