Has anyone had any success with this? I’ve started going to the gym as of today, and been doing straight 24 hour IF and CICO by carefully measuring everything I eat once a day. If I don’t see a calorie count next to it, I don’t order it. And outside of that period it’s only been zero calorie drinks, unsweetened tea and water. Today I hopped on the scale and discovered I’d lost 28 pounds in total so I’m super excited.
Where you’re going to suffer eating fast food even if you’re staying under in calories is you’re going to lack lots of vital micronutrients.
As long as you make sure you’re eating lots of fresh, unprocessed foods during the week.
A couple fast food meals won’t hurt you.
Thats awesome. I finally tried that Shroom burger from Shake Shack. It was pretty good, kinda pricey at nearly $10 but I managed to fit it into my calories and macros for the day. I think that I might see another increase in my weight cause I went over on calories again five days this week so far. But I have been exercising in the morning before work fasted the past two days and happy about that much of the progress
I treat myself occasionally while staying within CICO and IF. My usual schedule is 18:6 but on weekends I tend towards 20:4 or less. Then I might order take out (near me there are many restaurant options so it can be reasonably nutritious if I choose) and that will probably be at least the majority of my food for the day.
A rule of thumb I (personally) use is that the restaurant/cafe version is probably double the calories than if i made it at home.
