What about nuts?

I’v being struggling lately to increase my fat ratio. I got some advice about getting fat directly from a butcher, but others said to try nuts. I used to eat mostly peanut butter after meal, but the omega 6 to omega 3 ratio was really bad and I think it wasn’t that healthy. So I bought pecans, cashews and walnuts. Problem now is I am so gassy I could start a fire if I get to close to a spark.

Anyone here eat lots of nuts? Will the gas and cramps eventually go away if I continue to eat them?

Thanks

It’s probably just going to take time! But also, if you add some fish into your diet, you could keep having omega 6 fats and the ratio would be fine. The omega 3’s in nuts arent converted very well, whereas the omega 3’s in fish are way more bioavailable.

Pro tip if you dont like the taste of fish: shred 2 thawed frozen salmon filets, then add 1 to 2 tablespoons of minced ginger (or more. You literally cant have too much 😂) and a generous amount of garlic. Form into a several patties and fry. Eat with chili oil and avacado. It cuts the fishy taste beautifully, and it’s wildly healthy.
