What if I confuse my body..

I hav been doing OMAD ON and Off for 4 years. But never have been on days fast. I want to train my body for the fasting and I have done the 40hour fasting first time last week twice. It was pretty impressive to see myself at that discipline..

I want to increase my fasting window. Today is my fast day and I’m planning to make it to 48hour. How do I train my body to get adapted with days fasting!? And how do I increase my fasting time!? Does it have to consistent for a couple of weeks and could be changed later!? Or everytime I fast I increase the time!? But this could confuse my body. ‘-‘ And is it okay to fast twice a week who has not experienced fasting other than OMAD?

Anyone could please explain this to me how does this work?

Answer

You can’t confused your body. Before some King decided people should eat 3 times a day, humans were eating when they could. The body is made to over-eat then fast. I used to OMAD for over 25 years but often just eat every other day for a while. Your body will not be confused, it will adapt.
