What's your diet/meals like for 16:8 ? Care to share? 🥰

I have a one year old so it’s easiest for me to skip breakfast and have lunch and dinner with her so I follow 16:8.

Just curious what everyone’s actual diet/meals are like. Any super fantastic balanced meals you want to share??

I also count calories, so I eat basically anything as long as it’s in my calories for the day but still have balanced meals (best I can!)

I have a TON of pasta I stocked up on when it was on for a buck, any recipes to share?? 😇🥰😇🥰😇

I’m 18:6 or 17:7 (depending on the day). Yesterday, for lunch, I had grilled teriyaki chicken, white steam rice, and broccoli. Then I had a late afternoon snack of fat free frozen yogurt. Then dinner was 2 tilapia filets and broccoli.

Today, for lunch, I went with co-workers to a Chinese buffet. I had the Mongolian BBQ: shrimp, carrots, broccoli. Don’t know what I’ll have for dinner yet

I prep a batch of something every Sunday, leave a few in the fridge for lunches and freeze the rest to grab out whenever we need.

We love our instant pot! So healthy and tasty and easy.

Some of my favourite lunches are skinnytaste’s Turkey Cheeseburger soup, Amy & Jacky’s beef stew, chilli, and Tuscan chicken (rly good w pasta!)

Makes it so easy to break fast at midday or 1pm with a nice filling bowl full of veggies, protein, and rich flavourful sauce. The pressure cooking really takes the flavour profile to the next level.

Other days if I’ve been eating a lot I’ll break fast with 2 boiled eggs and graze on nuts, fruit, yoghurt until a big dinner.

For dinners we usually have salmon, chicken or steak with a side of green veg and sometimes a small portion of air fryer potatoes / fries and dippy sauce.

I don’t have heaps of weight to lose but I’ve shed 3-4 kg since I started clean fasting in the mornings start of October. I am absolutely loving it. Close to fitting in to my old size 0 shorts yay!

Sure why not. 9-5 for me.

Breakfast is two eggs two slices of bacon, two pieces of toast peanut butter and jelly. Coffee with cream. OR two eggs slice of american cheese amys bean and cheese burrito, maybe two slices of bacon coffee with cream.

Lunch. Either green drink or a normal lunch.

4ish. Snack with green drink if I had lunch, if I had the green drink then something dinnery.

Green drink is one scoop athletic Greens, 1 scoop Metamucil Sugar Free.

I don’t snack. Not a rule I just don’t feel much like snacking. I avoid sugar and allow myself one ice cream on Sundays during my eating window. Only water during fasting. I do not really restrict foods other than I avoid sugars.
