Which fishes and seafood are safe and healthy? These seafood in grocery are already packaged and cut.
What are some good places and sites you recommend we look at for good info on this?
In my degree our lecture told us the “SMASH” principle. Salmon mackerel anchovies sardines and herring. All small (therefore low in heavy metals and micro plastics) and oily (omegas). Smaller fish have softer bones therefore they are easier to consume with the fish so you get an added source of calcium along with all the nutritional benefits a fish has.
Don’t forget to take in to account if it it’s wild (best) or farmed (less ideal) and is it tinned or fresh.
