Answer

  1. Is okay.

  2. Is okay as it sounds like it doesn’t have any/many calories.

  3. Depends on the quantity of ACV, but probably fine (I see 3 calories in a tablespoon).

  4. Fine, depending on the calories. Also, be aware that many of those are supposed to be taken with food for better absorption.

Answer

I’m not an expert but how it was explained to me is there is a certain about of glucose available in reserve in between meals. By intermittent fasting you are using up those reserves forcing the body to switch to metabolizing your fat. The health benefits come as your body uses the most readily available fat which is stored on your inner organs. There is a study out of the Uk that studied severely obese T2 diabetes who were on very restrictive IF diets. Yes, they lost weight, but they lost more fat from their organs and their diabetes improved. Most could reduce their medication and many could quit it altogether.

So I would not worry about what is allowed or not allowed (although vitamin supplements are best taken with food). Just keep the calories low or non existent during the fasting period and you will be fine.
