Will hunger pangs come after every time I eat during rolling fasts?

I was thinking about doing rolling fasts. When I start a fast I’ll get hunger pangs but they will fade away. When I’ll eventually eat my one meal of the day after 60h to 72h fast, will hunger pangs come back after that meal as I start another prolonged fast?

Answer

Depends on what you eat.

If you keep your refeed meals small, high fat, moderate to low protein, and zero carb, then you shouldn’t have any hunger pangs at all.

If you eat a lot of carbage on the other hand, for me at least it would be very difficult to continue the fast.

Answer

Your hunger pangs are driven by a hormone called ghrelin. It comes in spikes, once at 24 hours and once at 48 hours while fasting. AFAIK, that’s just the physiological nature of our bodies and what you eat doesn’t affect that much.
