Hi! I’m completely new to IF, but after listening to some success stories and lurking the content here for a bit, I decided to try 16:8 on a casual* basis for 30 days.
It’s only day 3 and my mother just asked me if I had lost weight, I said no, but she told me that my stomach doesn’t look as “puffy” anymore. And what do you know? I look down and hey, my stomach is indeed like, not as bloated as it was.
So that was a really nice non-scale victory early in the trial.

Congrats on starting with IF! I hope you find your groove with it quickly.
The bloating that goes down during the first little bit was amazing to me too. I was shocked at how big a change it was just from treating my digestive system a bit better.

Just want to double-check that you know you should be changing the amounts you eat, you will not lose weight if you eat more than your body burns daily.
16:8 is good but you still need to watch the amounts you eat.
