I’m on week 3 and not missed a day, not lost a single pound of weight but I also do not work out at all. Only benefit so far is I sleep well
I wake up around 5:15am shower make coffee without sugar or anything added. Start work at 6am Power hours from 6-10am 100% focused 10-11am break walk the dog etc 11am ish end fast with nice 500+ calorie meal because I can’t control myself. Crash after eating and feeling sleepy. Back to work around 12:30 and just kinda do the bare minimum my mind is fried Off work around 3-4pm Walk the doggie prepare dinner Watch some tv Dinner falls around 6-7 depending on what I made 7-9 I’m exhausted endless scrolling and a last walk for the doggie 9:30 in bed snoring until the next day to do it again.
So when would you squeeze a work out in?
More context I work from home have a gym in my apt complex and can take a break whenever I want but once I am working I need to be focused to get shit done and a gym break for me ruins the power hours momentum so I thought maybe right after work but I am so tired from waking up early I just lay down and do nothing before making dinner The thing I can not change is my start time at work.
I chose 11-7pm as my window because I am new and thought that was a good team to squeeze in all my meals

What if you changed your IF hours to 12-8 and snuck in a workout right before breaking your fast? you’d also reap the benefits of fasted cardio. Working out mid day works really well for me when I can squeeze it in as it’s the last thing I want to do after a long work day :)
