For those who exercise daily, where do you place your workouts in relation to your eating window? 11-6 works fine for me if I’m not going to the gym, but I usually go to the gym at 8am and I need to eat before that… which gives me 7-3 and then I end up wicked hangry at 7pm.
I would tick and all of the above option. I put a big emphasis on consistency over strict performance. So my workout land where they fit my schedule that day.
Sometimes that’s early in the morning towards the middle of my fasting window, sometimes I’m doing something right before my fast ends, sometimes that’s in the evening right after my fast has started, and on the weekends it can be in various states of fed/fast - though usually I prefer the classic workout approach of a light snack then workout then proper meal.
My eating window is 12:00 to 18:00 and I train 2 time a day 5:30 I do like a body weight/ calisthenics between 30 to 40 minutes and depending of the temperature outside I go for a run ( 2,5 to 4 k) or a ruck march around 15:30-16:00 ish or at 19:30 after dinner
I eat before and after my workout so 19:5 fast. I eat from 7pm-12am an hour an a half before i train i eat and then and hour a half after. I think weight training you need food especially after to fill the muscles with glycogen the allow them to repair. Before is up too you imo. Cardio you can go without food especially for fat burning purposes but if your not giving your body electrolytes your going too struggle.
