7 Day Hard Dry Fasts Each Month?

Hi all,

I have experience with Fasting before, OMAD, Water fasting and 3-4 day dry fast.

I’m currently doing Keto OMAD. I need to stay home for a week and do some online work and was thinking of doing a hard dry fast for 7 days.

For example I would do 7 days in November, 7 days in December and 7 days in January all by the end of each month (last week of each).

Stats: male 28, 5 9”, 250 lbs

Currently doing OMAD I’m eating a variety of low carb food and drink tons of water. How should I prepare?

What are Your thoughts on this idea? Any similar experience?

*I’m not only trying to lose weight but trying to bring back my sense of smell and get rid of parosmia, brain fog and insomnia-hallucinations after 2,5 years of long COVID symptoms.

This is territory I’ve not explored, but I might suggest bigger breaks, or at least pause after the second dry fast. The mechanism for releasing stem cells can get stressed after too many lengthy fasts.

See how you feel after one fast and refeeding cycle,, definitely after two. Maybe seek a medically supervised fast if that does not provide you some relief or improvement.
