On average you will loose about 3lbs a day every day of the fast.
On fasts longer than five days you can expect to regain approximately 8 lbs in rehydration within the first 24 hours – more if you break ketosis when refeeding and shift into replenishing hydrophilic glycogen storage in lean muscle mass.
Lean muscle mass is conserved in dry fasting, so regaining any fat weight and your resulting enduring body composition will be determined entirely by your refeeding protocols and diet choices after the fast, not by the duration of your dry fast.
Good luck on your path.
Do more research. If you don’t know this answer already then you’re absolutely not ready for a dry fast. Dry fasting, for 5+ days with no prior experience will be the most difficult thing you will do in life. As well as dangerous.
I’m 115lbs (5’2” F) and somehow lost 8lbs water fasting for only 4 days. I eat healthy so I was shocked since it was twice the amount I expected. Hoping your body also surprises you!!! When do you start? Keep us updated 👍🏻
What is your weight and height?
I’ve read 1kg a day for some people, so 15lb in 7 days, but personally this has never been true for me on my short DF (3 to 4 days). I’m close to my “ideal” weight for my height and if I fast 4DF+6WF I’d lose about 12lb.
