About to start 7 day fast - any nutrition I should prepare/buy for afterwards?

In August Dunning’s book, The Phoenix Protocol there is a host of supplements he recommends afterwards, are these necessary/beneficial from people’s experiences or would eating broths, organic meats and offal be ample? Want to get the best results out of this (combatting autoimmunity) so any knowledge people can impart would be appreciated

Answer

Water, broth, fruits are good. I came off an 8 day with water and fruit.

Avoid meat or dense foods and processed foods. It can seriously mess with your digestion after being in such a sensitive state. Refeeding after 7 days is pretty serious (especially if you are new to fasting).

Answer

Why would someone recommend offal?

Just water. But I never have the WILLpower.

The mad lads in here recommend coconut water but I’ve not tried it.

I much prefer cherry Cola and the awful sense of nausea it brings almost instantly. Second to that. Choccy Milk. Can’t beat a bit of Choccy milk.

Great question BTW. x

Answer

The lighter the food the better. Listen to your body, you likely won’t be interested in heavy foods like meat, dairy, carbs, etc even though your mind might want them.

Start off with liquids, go to fruits, then soups then regular food when you’re ready. You’ll know when it’s time.
