My sense of smell improved. Did not have covid but have chronic sinus inflammation from environmental allergies. By day three my inflammation was down. I was able to breathe easier and smell/taste improved.
Curious how this turns out for you. I have a diminished sense of smell since having Covid and it’s been 9 months. I water fasted for 21 days but unfortunately it didn’t come back. I do think a dry fast could help. Please keep me posted on your progress; I’m thinking about doing a dry fast after thanksgiving
My sense of touch became supercharged. My office is huge and I come into contact with a large cast of characters every day - many times theres 10% new people on a weekly basis I interact with - after dry fasting I could feel heat coming off of people when it was higher than normal. I got to the point I would start to distance myself from folks that seemed excessively warm.
Turned out those instincts+an enhanced sense of touch were right - the first person I remember noticing this with missed a meeting and I asked where Person X was…”oh, she called in sick yesterday and today, it’s not COVID but whatever it is, its hitting her pretty hard”.
I didn’t think anything of it until after the 4th person I had noticed excessive heat from was a no show due to “not feeling well”. That’s when I started to think back and sure enough, each person I had moved away from due to feeling that heat had ended up sick just a few days later.
So dry fast really is not drinking and not eating anything completely? How do you prepare for dry fast and any tips before doing it? I have problems with my sinus left side is clogged every time I sleep/wake up. No mucus coming out but sometimes post nasal drip very thick white/clear rubbery like mucus. How long do you recommend doing dry fast?
