Are non-organic, GMO soybeans safe to eat?

They are from a supermarket, are these safe to eat? Is there a way of preparing them that will make them safer (e.g. baking soda for pesticides, fermenting)?

Answer

It’s fine. Lots of weirdos make a fuss about “natural” foods, not understanding that modern crops were produced through the modification of genetics using primitive techniques. The farm produce of today is not something produced by nature. GMO has been just a faster technical method of improving products.

Answer

I’ve read so many articles stating that ‘non-organic/gmo soybeans - anything that uses soybeans ie tofu, etc., ) are highly, highly sprayed with pesticides.

So no, imo conventional soy products are ‘not’ safe for frequent consumption. Since I love tofu and consume regularly, there is NO WAY that I would consume convention products.
