Answer

Flossing is huge, so many people don’t floss at all. While some can get away with never flossing (my SO), many people have to floss daily or their breath will smell.

Floss between a few teeth and smell your floss, you’ll know right away if that’s your issue.

Shout out to Steve-O for bringing this to my attention in his podcast

Edit: forgot to mention if your mouth is dry it will make your breath smell, especially if you recently had something sugary

Answer

If you are already doing the whole brushing and flossing and tongue scraping, then I would suggest gargling with salt water. Fasting reduces the amount of saliva you produce, which creates a friendly environment for bacteria in your mouth. Rinsing throughout the day will help a bit.
