Beginner advice on 18:6 IF and skipping breakfast?

I’m wanting to get into IF (eating at Noon and at 5PM) and start working out (cardio and some machine weights) in the mornings.

My goal is weight loss and a healthier cardiovascular system.

However, I’m not sure that skipping breakfast is very healthy, or maybe even counterintuitive.

Is it healthy to skip breakfast like this?

However much is possible, I’d love to see some kind of scientific backing for any of your answers.

I’ve been doing IF since November 2021 and have lost about 45 lbs. I don’t eat breakfast but I do have black coffee and water. I work out mid morning and my eating window is noon to 8pm. But sometimes I don’t eat til 2:00. “Skipping” breakfast is fine.
