Do not sit around. Fill your day. Clean a thing every day. Go for a short walk, daily if you have the time. Write in a journal . Any hobbies you need to attend to? Keep yourself busy and the days tend to fly by. Once you get over the habit of not eating that one meal you find things to do are more of an enjoyment.
I am also a “bored” eater and this has been hard for me. I find I tend to sleep in more, used to be up by 5:00 AM but since I do not start eating until Noon I try to sleep in later. I stop eating at 6:00 PM and that works okay as I have stuff to occupy me until 9 or 10 and then off to bed.
