Hello to everyone! I completed my first Dryfast 9,5 Days, no water entered my mouth, i took over the days some cold showers.
I broke my fast with baking soda and some electrolytes, but than i think i drank way to much coconutwater and also ate wayyy to much Watermelon, i had some stomach/gut pains well its better now, i sipped also some bonebroth….
One thing is worse…… its my tinnitus, my tinnitus is now screaming lowd, my question to you guys, does anyone knows what i can do? Will it get back to baseline? Its so loud right now…. it scares me……. I hope i didnt messed it up permantely, i hoped to improve my tinnitus……
To everyone who reads this, have a great day, God/Jesus bless you people!
I have done this before… multiple times. I understand how difficult it is to refeed properly and to eat reasonable amounts.
I have been trying to heal a shoulder injury, and I recently did a 9-day and 10-day dry fast. I noticed that when I overate during refeed, the healing sensation would stop. But as soon as everything digested and my body calmed down, the healing would happen again, even a long time after.
In short, you didn’t mess up, and your body will still heal - A LOT. Just don’t keep doing it every day. My habit is that I overeat a little the first 2 days and then calm down, but still experience a lot of healing. Of course, it’d probably be more efficient if I were to not overeat those days, but I wouldn’t be too concerned at this point as long as you eat properly going forward.
Give your body at least a few weeks minimum to measure the results of your fast. Dr. Filonov states that on day 21 after a dry fast are when stem cells are the highest, so wait it out and see what happens. Or if you want extra healing, you can do a fractional fast before then.
Yeah I also have this problem as well as low stomach acid/heartburn. As much as I remember from a dr berg video the tinnitus is related to an alkaline blood so from the fasting your body stop producing stomach acid and maybe acids in general because it doesn’t expect you to digest much and when you start eating you are just too alkaline. I drink a lot of apple cider vinegar after a dry fast and I eat more frequently than usual to fix that. Btw baking soda is also alkaline
Stay away from carbs. I stay keto on refeeds and tinnitus is under control and even improves. I accidentally spiked my sugar last night and wound up with more tinnitus. Tinnitus actually gets better just eating keto and not even fasting. Honestly I think it might even be the fructose that does it.
