Calories - Chicken Breast

Can anybody help me understand the difference in Kcal’s between the USDA website for boneless skinless chicken breast, and what’s on the back of the Perdue and Tyson’s packaging?

I get so confused why the USDA’s is so much higher. TIA

I dont know this for sure but what you’re buying from Perdue or Tyson might be pumped full of water. PLumping is often the term used and IMHO its something you get from cheaper / frozen chicken breasts. Since people pay by weight, they simply inject the solution.

100% guess, but I’m betting the USDA #s are for pure chicken, where are the other two are processed and plumped with saltwater, which has no calories. Guessing though
