Cardio or weights

For those who exercise and dryfast, what do you think is better, cardio or lifting to get lean/abs.

Or should we do a little if both? The thing with cardio for me is i sweat so bad and then want water.

Answer

I think the best way is to experiment for yourself and see how you feel /what you experience.

Lifting weights seems extreme on DF, I’m not sure if your body could repair itself properly.

I go on long walks (4.5 hrs total yesterday) while df, with breaks.

You gotta figure out what works for you. Be safe though and just break if you overdo it and are concerned.

Answer

Maybe weights on a day you refeed. I like to do weights within 24 hours of eating a refeed meal.

Light cardio is ideal for dryfasting. You don’t really have the energy for much else after a day or two without the essentials.

Answer

Follow a good strength training program with the goal being to get strong. Then fit in cardio where you can with the goal being to get fast. example: timed cycling. try to beat your own time.

You don’t need to do cardio that frequently. weight loss is 100% diet.
