Notes: I have been steadily doing 20:4 for the past 2 weeks with 2 24h fast in-between. The 24h fasts came quite easily so I want to see if I can manage a 48h. Even if I can’t, it won’t matter as long as I do at least 24h. Currently running on 20th hour.
Shedding my Reddit Lurkerness… hello!

Started 11/1/2022, no plans to stop.
Length: After acclimating, 17/5x7 seems to be just right, but I give myself leeway a few hours either way.. Will be exploring 24hr and OMAD soon.
Why?: Originally, weight loss was the primary reason with all the other benefits a wistful dream.
Notes: I don’t have a scale, but I’ve lost 2 belt sizes. My wistful dream came true. I have noticeably more energy, the quality of which is clean and sustained. Cognitive improvements in the form of reaction time and decision making seem to be increasing. Even typing is faster and more accurate. Pain levels are down overall giving me a bounce in my step not experienced for years. (I’m 63) It’s made a noticeable dent in my depression as well.
A persistent achilles tendon injury has almost disappeared.
Gotta say I’m becoming more amazed as time goes on. Didn’t expect my skin to improve. Thank you autophage.
