Type: Fast from food. Water, black coffee, tea, electrolyte mineral powder (no sweetener), fish oil and D3 / K2 oil drops ok. The last two, being straight fat, should not induce an insulin response

Length: 20:4 or thereabouts.
Why: Rest digestive system, mental clarity.
Notes: Headed out of town today for a birding expedition tomorrow morning. Since we’ll be outside and it’s not that warm, I’ll probably lengthen my usual eating window tomorrow.
Yesterday I said I wanted to get back into 16:8 window. Been following but often cutting several more hours, so that it turns out to be a 20:4 day. And I got so hungry I ate some soup out of the window. So, start fresh, stick to eating 9-5. Only, no. Yesterday I didn’t eat until 11. Finished eating at 5 basically those two meals.
It’s a process.
Hi all! I just wanted to say that I started 16:8 for the first time ever on Dec 3. And for the first time, I have hope that something can help me lose weight and improve my overall health. I’m down 4.5 lbs and my resting heart rate went down by 12. One drawback is that I have very restless sleep with long and vivid nightmares.

Context: 13th day… no idea what my first non fasting day will be.
