Checking in for OMAD
Succeeded yesterday, and I will succeed again today.
Currently 12:05 and fasted. I’m working until 19:00 anyway so I will fast until then
Dinner will either be a home cooked meal or a sensible meal out with my partner for our date night. Calorie goal for today is 2100 as I do a very physically intense job.
20/4 day, big breakfast, will have a light lunch then call it until tomorrow.
Fasting for maintenance and health, not weight loss. Breakfast & Lunch T/Th, Coffee, lunch & supper MWF, weekends usually 2 meals, one small then one big.
Maintaining around 21-22 BMI at 54, 44% waist to height (lots of kids so it’s not ever gonna be much better than that). IF works, fasting works, easy, free, healthy, not too restrictive or unpleasant. You can do it!
Brand new to IF but currently doing 16:8 high protein and 30 minutes of exercise everyday. I have my yearly physical on 11/21 and want to down 15 lbs from my last Dr’s visit. I have lost 6 lbs total since I started to actually try to lose some weight but I am only 15 sub par days into fasting. I would love to know what OMAD is or where to look for a glossary of terms. I am 49 and it has never been quite this hard to see any progress.
