I’ve tried IF before and it does work, I usually did 18:6 and sometimes stretching out the fasting periods.
However ever since I started my new job I noticed that I go out for dinner more often as it is unavoidable, as those are work dinners.
I can skip breakfast and lunch time(fast 18hours), however would there be any side effects of having my eating period at night? (7-9pm)
Food usually digest for 4-6hours and I usually go to bed around 10pm-12am. Would it cause indigestion because I’m going to sleep?
I know that lying down and sleeping after a meal is not good. And I sometimes I do feel nauseated because the food is swishing around.
Any tips would be great, I gain back my weight and I am really looking forward to adapt with a new IF plan.
Go for a 20 minute walk after dinner if you’re going to sleep within like an hour, it’ll help you digest
Realistically, going to sleep 2-3 hours after dinner is perfectly fine. You digest food faster when you haven’t eaten all day too
Perhaps not absolutely ideal, but instead of worrying about it not being completely optimal just do some pushups or something, that’ll more than make up for it
